Dr. Swapna Antony is a distinguished academician, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Malayalam at CAS College, Madayi. She holds a Master’s degree in Malayalam Language and Literature from the University of Calicut, where she secured the prestigious III Rank. Dr Swapna Antony earned her Doctoral degree from Kannur University, with a specialization on the Agrarian Movement in Malabar in Malayalam Novels. Her research bridges literary analysis with socio-cultural history, underscoring the interconnections between literature, politics, and society in Kerala. Dr. Swapna Antony’s academic expertise lies in Folklore, Cultural Studies, and Malayalam Literature. She has authored over 20 research articles in peer-reviewed journals, many of which are UGC Care-listed and ISBN-listed. Her research has significantly contributed to the study of Malayalam literature and culture, particularly in the areas of folklore, agrarian movements, and the socio-political implications of literary texts. Dr. Sindhu K. V is a distinguished academic and poet, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Malayalam at CAS College, Madayi. With over 16 years of dedicated service at the college since 2008, she has made significant contributions to the field of Malayalam literature, both as an educator and as a poet. Dr. Sindhu's academic journey is marked by her deep engagement with literature, spanning both Malayalam and English. She holds a Postgraduate degree in Malayalam Language and Literature from the University of Calicut and a Postgraduate degree in English Literature from IGNOU. Furthering her scholarly pursuits, she earned a Doctoral degree in Cyber Culture in Malayalam Poetry from Kannur University. Her doctoral research, which explores the intersection of technology and literature, has contributed significantly to the emerging field of cyber poetry. In addition to her academic qualifications, Dr. Sindhu has established herself as a prolific researcher and writer. She has authored over 20 research articles, which have been published in UGC-CARE listed and peer-reviewed journals. Her research primarily delves into the evolving relationship between literature and technology, with a particular focus on how cyber culture influences contemporary Malayalam poetry. Dr. Sindhu's contributions extend beyond research and teaching. As an author, she has made her mark in the world of contemporary Malayalam poetry. She has published five poetry collections: Kappithottangalude Sookshippukkari (2012),Paathirasooryan (2014),Thottunokkiyittille Puzhakale (2016),Etho Kalathil Nammal Nammale Kandupokunnathu Pole (2016) and Niraye Narukalulla Nerangal (2023). Her poems have been translated into several languages, including Chinese, English, Tamil, and Kannada, and are featured in important literary anthologies such as Indian Literature 21st Century Malayalam Poetry and Kerala Kavitha 2011-2012. Furthermore, she translated Pearl S. Buck's Letter from Peking into Malayalam, under the title Peekingil Ninnulla Kath, contributing to the spread of global literary works in the regional language. Dr. Sindhu’s poetry is known for its introspective exploration of contemporary issues, weaving together elements of personal experience and broader social concerns. Her works are regularly included in the syllabi of various universities across Kerala, attesting to her influence in the academic world. She also authored a study on cyber poetry titled Padarunna Jalakangal, which delves into the unique genre of poetry shaped by digital culture. Apart from her literary and scholarly achievements, Dr. Sindhu has played an active role in the administration and academic development of her college. She has served in various leadership roles, including Staff Advisor, Staff Editor, and Fine Arts Advisor of the College Union. As a coordinator for clubs such as the Media Club and the Folk Club, she has worked to enrich the extracurricular life of the college, promoting student involvement in cultural and artistic activities. She is a Member of the Board of Studies at Kannur University, where she contributes to the development and revision of curriculum in Malayalam studies. Dr. Jainymol K. V. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Malayalam at CAS College, Madayi. She holds a postgraduate degree in Malayalam language and literature from Govt. Brennen College Thalassery, Kannur University and has qualified NET and SET exams. Dr. Jainymol earned her Ph.D. from Kannur University with a dissertation titled "The Politics of Listening and the Construction of Culture: A Study Based on the Private FM Radio Programmes in Kerala," under the guidance of Dr. Sivadas K. K., Professor at Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram. She is also a research guide at Kannur University. She has published over 40 articles in UGC-CARE listed and peer-reviewed journals and books focused on media studies and literature. Dr. Jainymol is the author of three books on media studies and the editor of five books related to media and culture. She actively contributes to well-known media journals and magazines. In her academic career, Dr. Jainymol has set question papers for Calicut University and participated in various workshops, including syllabus workshops at Kannur University. She has served as Fine Arts Advisor, coordinated the Media Club and Bhoomithrasena, and has been an active member of numerous college-level committees.
