Dr.Bijina M is working as Assistant Professor, PG Department of History with more than 15 years of teaching experience in UG and PG. She completed under graduate degree from Nirmalagiri College, and completed post-Graduation from CAS College Madayi with first Rank in Kannur University. B.Ed degree from Kannur University and secured UGC, NET. She completed research from Kannur University. She worked as Assistant Proffessor ( on Contract ) in different colleges under Kannur University. She is the trainer of several competitive examinations. She had engaged in several co-curricular activities in the college. She was an NSS Programme officer from 2014 to 2017 and the co-coordinator of Red Ribbon Club. She participated National level Adventure camp in Himachal Pradesh.Now she is the co ordinator of NSS Advisory Committee, and a member of Student’s Grievance and Ethics Committee ,Tourism Committee, and Calendar Committee.FYUGP Department level coordinator, Department level NAAC Coordinator, Coordinator of college level counselling, Convener of University level Result and Evaluation committee. College level K-REAP Nodal Officer. She is the Chairman of PG Board of Examination in history and Social Science from 2023 onwards. She is the member of UG Board of studies. She is the subject expert of the interview boards of various colleges. She is the question paper setter of various universities in Kerala. She participated several National and International Seminars and Conferences and presented papers in Kerala History Congress, South Indian History Congress, Indian History Congress and International Kerala History Conference and published papers in several National and International Journals. Her major areas of interest are Modern Indian History, Kerala History, and Social history.

Dr. Shalima M C, Assistant Professor of History, PG Dept. of History, Co-op Arts and Science College, Madayi. She has completed post graduation in History with First Rank from the Department of History, Kannur University. She qualified UGC NET with JRF. During her doctoral studies, she also received Junior Research Fellowship of Kerala Council for Historical Research. Her PhD is on the topic Urbanisation of Kannur 1792-1947, under the guidance of Dr. C Balan, Professor, Dept. of History, Kannur University. Her area of specialisation is Economic and Social History of Malabar. Now she is one of the members of Board of Studies in History, Kannur University. She has published 10 plus research papers in national and international journals and books. And she also presented 10 plus research papers in international as well as national Conferences. She has 7 years of total teaching experience in P G Departments of reputed colleges and University Departments in Kannur. She also participated in the publication of Tri lingual Glossary in History, CSTT New Delhi and Kerala Bhasha Institute. She has authored the book The Cultural Transition in Europe, co-authored with Dr. Deepa G, published by Calicut University Co-op Stores. Dr.Deepa G., Assistant Professor of History, Post Graduate Department of History, Co- Operative Arts and Science College Madayi, Kannur, Kerala. She is a research guide of Herman Gundert Central Library, Kannur Under University Kannur University. She completed her post Graduate Degree in History from Department of History, NSS College, Manjeri. Her PhD on “The Politics of Food and Cuisine: Religion, Power and Gender in the Making of Food in Colonial Malabar” (Research Supervisor: Dr. E.N. Lakshmanan, Department of History, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady), and MPhil on “The Food Culture of Eranad: A Historical Study from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. During her doctoral studies she received junior research fellowship of Kerala Council for Historical Research. Her area of interest is Gender History and Cultural History. She has authored the book Kerala Bhakshana Charithram (The History of Kerala Food )Published by DC Books. Dr Alias KuttyPoulose is an Assistant Professor in history in the Department of History. He has an Under Graduate Degree in History from Mahathama Gandhi University Kottayam with University 3rd Rank. He has completed his masters Degree in History from Union Christian CollegeAluva,Mahathama Gandhi University Kottayam. He has completed his Masters Degree in Public Administration and Social Work. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Education from N.S.S.College of EducationChanganachery, Mahathama Gandhi University Kottayam. He has completed his M.Phil in History from Vinayaka Missions University Salem. His thesis was on the topic“Towards Modernity : The Educational and Literary Activities of the Syrian Christians in Kerala 1800-1947” and awarded Ph.D. in 2019 from ManonmaniamSundaranar University Tirunelveli. Currently he is pursuing his M.B.A in Human Resource Management from Pondichery Central University. He works on Colonial Modernity, Social Empowerment and Modern Education. His areas of Specialisation are in the fields of Modern Kerala and the History of Syrian Christian Community. His area of interest spans to Pubic Administration, Social Work and management Studies also. Dr.Alias is a motivational speaker and regularly conducts motivational classes in Universities, Colleges and Schools. He has presented and published a number of articles in various National and International Journals.
