She is a Post Graduate in Commerce from Kannur University. She is awarded Ph.D from Kannur University in the year 2021. The topic of her research is “A Study of the Financing Pattern and Financial Viability of Organic Farming in Kerala”. She has published papers in Peer Reviewed Journals and presented various papers in national and International Seminars. Her area of interest is Financial Management, Accounting and International Finance. She has 18 years of teaching experience under various colleges of Kannur University.

Dr. Ramya K P is working as Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Commerce, Co-operative Arts and Science College, Madayi, Kannur since 2013. She has completed her Master degree in Commerce and Bachelor Degree in Education from Kannur University. She qualified SET and NET as well. Her thesis titled “Customer Grievance Redressal Practices of Health Insurance Companies with Special Reference to Kerala” was awarded Ph.D in 2021 from Mahatma Gandhi University. She has been recognised as Research Supervisor by Kannur University in Commerce in 2023. She has more than 16 years of experience in different Colleges under Kannur and MG Universities. Her areas of interests are Income Tax, Research Methodology, Cost Accounting, Insurance and Co-operation. She is a prolific researcher with numerous publications in Peer Reviewed and UGC Approved Journals, contributing to the academic advancement of the field. She has completed numerous online/offline Refreshment/FDP programmes sponsored by UGC-HRDC and MHRD platforms. She has presented research papers in various International and National Conferences and co-ordinated number of International and National Webinars. She has published books in accordance with the Kannur University syllabus. She has co-ordinated one hundred and forty plus Programmes for NSS Volunteers. She has deputed to accompany the NSS Volunteers of Kannur University to the National Integration Camp. She has also co-ordinated the twenty days’ Community Engagement Programme as a part of Beat COVID Campaign initiates of Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Hyderabad, Government of India and received recognition. She acted as the role of NCC Caretaker, ED Club Co-ordinator, Fine Arts Advisor, Staff Advisor, and NSS Programme Officer. She has a convenor/member of various College Level Committees. She has been a member of the Commerce Association of Kerala, Blood Donors Kerala and the Insurance Institute of India. She secured National Service Scheme Best Programme Officer Award from Kannur University in 2021-2022 and also received special appreciation from the State National Service Scheme’ for co- ordinating the NSS State Cell’s ASAAD Sena (Sena for Awareness Against Drugs) activities of Kannur District.
